The interesting thing about Matt. 7:19-27 is that the people actually performed wonders in the Church, they built cathedrals and rose in the ecclesiastical ladder but what was the departing point? When people are in the dark, they embrace those who really hate them and make enemy out of those whom God has ordained to help them. This is because those ordained by God to help them will always tell them the truth which they don’t want to hear because their heart is not right. Any heart that is not right cannot receive the truth of God’s word. They are always looking for those who will endorse their problems and not those who can solve them.
