2023/2024 OPERATION 18-18 – (SUPERNATURAL EMPOWERMENT TO LIVE ABOVE STUBBORN CHALLENGES 5B)

When we moved into the last place we used before moving to our present location, God spoke to me that the place was going to be a place of spiritual incubation for the fellowship but before we knew it, we parked at a place where I thought we will spend just about two years. That is always the case. However, God stirred up the ‘gate of the landlord’ against the ministry and we had no choice but to cry out to God. God answered our prayers through a song that it is time to move to a higher ground!

That was how great things began to happen and before long we had a place of our own. God not only delivered the ministry, he also delivered my family from a long term period of tenancy. That same God is on the throne. For every stubborn challenge, there is one simple strategy from God that will dissolve it. It is your responsibility to seek the face of God. John 14:14 says

“If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”

Jesus knows how to deal with the spider and not just the cobweb. He addressed the issue of sin. God will be glorified in that situation that the devil has used to mock your testimony in the name of Jesus Christ. That stubborn challenge in your life will become a testimony and God will be glorified. Everyone will see the hand of God in your life. Whatever God does, he puts his signature, his signature will be clear that this can only be God. It does not matter the number of years.

The man sick of palsy was helpless, he couldn’t function. He needed somebody to help him even to move from one place to the other. Four people had to carry him to where Jesus was and when they could not enter through the door because of the crowd, they had to break the roof in order to drop him before Jesus. May God bless us with such hand lifters in the name of Jesus. Your best friend is the one who takes you to Jesus for a definite encounter.

Your divine hand lifters will locate you; those who will be your destiny enhancers will locate you. Take note of the extent to which these four men went in order to take the sick man to Jesus. Their commitment is very rare in the world today. They were not interested in what they would benefit from it; they might not even be related to the man. What they did is faith expressed; practical demonstration of faith. What Jesus saw was extreme faith, commitment.

Jesus spoke to the main issue, the problem of sin. Sin is a very serious problem that opens the door for all manner of affliction and demons. You must deal with the sin factor. Every true child of God who desires to deal with any stubborn challenge should first of all look inwards. That is the first place to start.

Improper consecration is one of the reasons why there are stubborn challenges. You must get rid of the things that invite demonic spirits out of your life. You must clean up. Without cleaning up, there is no moving to higher ground. The God we serve is a holy God.

Sin is one of the root causes of sickness. You have to clean up and then you will be ready to have an encounter. Every man’s malady can be traced to an instruction disobeyed. Every tragedy in life is traceable to one instruction disobeyed. Sin – disobedience, disease, distress, disharmony, depression, afflictions, and so on are demonic. All a demons need is a foothold and before long they would build a stronghold. What is their mission? To steal, to kill and to destroy!

The situation of the man with the palsy was hopeless. But with Christ, there is no hopeless situation.

“For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” 

1 John 3:8^b, KJV

Every work of the devil in your life will be utterly destroyed in the name of Jesus.
