THE DOVE IN THE CLEFTS OF THE ROCK IV

The clefts refer to all the places where Jesus shed his blood. Each wound borne in the precious body of Jesus Christ was a fountain from which flowed his precious blood.

  • His Loins –
Jesus was circumcised on the eighth day being a Hebrew and his blood was shed to terminate every form of barrenness; anything that makes us not to be fruitful. The blood from the loins terminates every form of barrenness. The blood that dropped on the floor broke the curse of thorns and thistles so that you will not labour for nought anymore.
  • His heart –
As Jesus hung on the cross, one of the soldiers thrust his spear into his side and out of it came blood and water. This cleft was made that we might have a pure and clean heart. Every arrow aimed at our hearts by the evil one can be completely neutralized by the fountain from the clefts of Christ’s heart.

You may wish to apply the blood to the following things that defile and damn the soul of man – evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornication, thefts, bearing false witness, blasphemies, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, pride, foolishness, unrighteousness, envy debate, malignity, whispers, backbiting, hating God, despitefulness, boastings, disobedience to parents, ignorance, covenant breaking, unnatural affection, implacability, unmercifulness, abusing self with mankind, reveling, extortion, uncleanness (homosexuality etc), witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, seditions, strife, heresies, drunkenness, reviling, lying, idolatry, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence and filthy communication. Receive cleansing from each and every one of these in the mighty name of Jesus.

The beautiful thing that happens to the dove that dwells in the clefts of the rock is cleansing.

“In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for unrighteousness.”
Zechariah 13:1, KJV

The blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth guarantees that constant flow. One of the things I have discovered about the eagle and lion Churches is that they don’t believe in holiness; rather, they believe in faith. Any faith that does not make you holy will end up in idolatry. If your faith does not make you holy, it will end up in idolatry. As the danger of this, you can use your faith to grab, snatch, run with it but in the end you will end up in idolatry.

  • His hands –
The blood from the hands of Jesus that were nailed to the cross has been provided to cleanse the works of our hands from such things as bribery and shedding of blood. If you are an eagle or a lion, you will not be able to say no when the temptation comes. This is because a lion must kill, it must devour. The blood was shed so that we might have clean hands to lift up in praise and worship and that we might have holy hands to serve in God’s kingdom.
  • His head –
A crown of thorns was placed on his head, it perforated his head and there was flow of blood down to his face. In the Bible, the mind and the heart are used interchangeably. What controls the mind controls you. Your mind is your thinking self. It is very important to place the blood of Jesus into the garden of your heart every morning to forbid the enemy from turning your head upside down.
  • His face –
The tormentors of Jesus plucked out his beards and each hair left a cleft in his face from where flowed sinless, sanctifying blood to cleanse us from all spots and blemishes of our countenances. You have a spiritual countenance. How do you look in the realm of the spirit? How are you clothed in the realm of the spirit? According to Zech. 3:1-3, Joshua was the high priest and when he appeared before the Lord, he was clothed in filthy garments. As a result, the devil appeared at his right hand to resist him. The devil loves it when people are dirty. A local proverb from my hometown says he who brings in an insect infested fire wood has succeeded in throwing a tea party (invitation) to lizards.
  • His back –
Before Jesus was nailed to the cross, the soldiers of Pilate scourged him. Bits of metal were fastened in the thongs of the whip that was used upon his back. According to historians, so much flesh from his back was ripped out that one could actually see his internal organs laid bare. What tremendous suffering for you and I! For by his stripes, we are healed. The precious blood from his back heals us of physical and spiritual diseases.

TO BE CONTINUED.
