DAGON MUST FALL 1A
One of the times that the devil attacks believers the most is after a major victory. That is why the Bible says having done all, stand. There is no place for retreat in the Christian race; there is no place where you can commend yourself that you have done enough. God’s standard for prayer is – pray without ceasing (1 Thes 5:16). The more you pray, the more victory and the more you carry the presence of God. A prayerless Christian can never be a powerful Christian.
If we use Jesus Christ as our standard, it will help us a lot. Jesus lived in the realm of divine communion with the Father. I want to get into that dimension to the extent that while lying on my bed I will still be in God’s presence. When you get to that dimension, it will amaze you how mountains will begin to skip without much effort on your part. It is not the spiritual gymnastics that move mountains; it is how much of the fire of the presence of God that you carry.
Remember that it is the fire of his presence not the fire of your presence that gets the job done. What this means is that without connecting to his presence, there will be no fire. Think about a kettle without fire, of course, all manner of flies will settle on it. The moment the fire comes, they evaporate.
One of the ways to ascertain if you are getting cold is when you begin to sense the attacks of the devil intensify especially in your dreams. Your dream life is very important, don’t take it for granted. In your dreams, you should have strategic victories over any power that is sent to attack you. You must not lose in any battle regardless of where it is fought. Is it the battle over your finances, soul, home, peace of mind, health and well being? You must have victory at home and abroad.
The battle of the end time is the battle of altars. That is why you cannot afford to be:
- Ignorant
- Nonchalant or
- Neutral. There is no neutrality in spiritual warfare. You are either in it or you are already defeated.
The moment people are born, they are born into the war called the battle of ages and it is a raging battle. It was in existence before you were born and it will continue to be there. The good news, however, is that we are not called to fight for victory. We are fighting from victory and we will progress from victory to victory because our Lord Jesus Christ, the captain of the Lord’s army, the Lord of hosts, the commander of the armies of heaven fought and won for us. In heaven, he won the battle. On the cross, he won the battle. In the grave, he won the battle. That is why you must win the battle.
Pray –
- Heavenly Father I thank you for the generous provisions you have made for my well being here and here after. Thank you for the victory of your son Jesus Christ on the cross at calvary. I appropriate this victory in every facet of my life and I give you all the glory in Jesus’ name. Amen.
