GOLDEN KEYS FOR OVERCOMING YOUR ADVERSARIES IV
“To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues.”1 Corinthians 12:10, KJV
Discernment is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Spirits are meant to be discerned. You cannot bind a demon you have not properly discerned. One of the ways to discern is to be a good observer. Over seventy percent of what is involved in discernment is observation. Put your eyes on the ball. All that glitters is not gold.
The devil knows that he is not omnipresent but he has devised means to be able to put his coded objects in homes. You must be discerning. You must ‘clean’ your house; remove every ornament of defilement. There are certain things that must not be in your house, they may be gifts. During one of our deliverance sessions when the fire of the Holy Ghost fell, a woman, a deaconess in the church, held her wrist watch and yanked it out of her wrist. After the service, we interrogated her and she confirmed that the wrist watch was a wedding gift from her best friend. As at that time, the woman had been married for twenty years without any issue.
Remember, that it was just a Babylonian garment that Achan stole that brought serial defeats to the camp of the all conquering children of Israel (Joshua 7). If you use second hand clothes and other materials, you must be very careful. Some of these things are ornaments of defilement. I command every instrument of bewitchment that has surreptitiously entered your house to catch fire right now in the mighty name of Jesus.
2. Align with the will of God.
To align means to be in line, to be in tune. Tune to the frequency of the will of God. God is so merciful, faithful and good that he did not leave us in the dark concerning his will. His will is enunciated in black and white in his word, the Bible. Be a diligent student of the Word. What is his will?
“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”Genesis 1:28, KJV
The purposive will of God for his children is to be fruitful, to increase, to multiply, to have dominion over the things in the air, the things in the water, creeping things, multidimensional dominion. Receive that grace in the mighty name of Jesus.
Man lost it in the Garden of Eden but God restored it for man on the cross.
“Jesus said unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.”
John 4:34, KJV
Jesus Christ, the pattern Son, lived to do the will of the Father. He said my meat is to do the will of my Father and to finish it. May that become your meat today in the mighty name of Jesus. You want to overcome the adversary? Align with the word of God, align with the will of God and be a doer of that will. When you align with the will of God, heaven will back you up and when heaven backs you up, Rom. 8:31B says, “If God be for us, who can be against us?” May the power of God destroy every misalignment in the name of Jesus.
