Benefits of Returning to the Lord

These are some of the blessings that will follow you if you return from following your own will and doing your stuff:

1. Divine Elevation.
God will build you up. Think about it, the person that is asking you to come is up, he operates in the highest. He is above only. The surest way to be above all is to return to God. It is not easy to walk against the gravity to move up, the downward descent is always more appealing to carnal man. Remember man’s will in union with the will of the snake in the garden. To do the will of God is not easy but that is where your blessing lies. That is where your destiny is guaranteed.

If you want to live the ascension life, you just have to release the lower things of this world that you are still holding on to. I want you to make a list of the lower things of this world that you are still holding on to that you need to let go. As you do, heaven will take note. Anything that is dense will sink according to the law of gravity. When you are descending, you are aided by gravity. True elevation is divine. If you are not moving the upward way and you are climbing the ecclesiastical ladder, you are a disaster waiting to happen. Such person will not only destroy himself but also those who are aligned with him.

The greatest leader that ever lived said – learn of me (Matt 11:29). No one can get to the most high except through him. Heaven is not an anyhow place or designed for anyhow people. It is only those that have the character, mark and seal of the Holy Ghost, only those that are blood washed, sanctified, redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ, only those that are aligned with the will of God in redemption will make it there. The book of life is the book of the Lamb, not the book of lion. If you decide to become a lion, you exclude yourself from that book. The bride of Christ is the bride of the Lamb not the bride of lion. These things are boldly written in the Bible.

If you are a child of God on the way to heaven, you don’t need any worldly endorsement. Rom. 8:9 says if anyone does not have the spirit of Christ he is none of his. Living Translation says, he is not a Christian at all. They have reduced these things to ridicule and that is why the world does not take the Church seriously anymore. As bold as a lion, they say, but, is boldness a fruit of the Holy Spirit? Righteousness makes you bold but boldness does not make you righteous. The world is the way it is today because of unrighteous bold people all over the place, lions! If you marry a ‘lion’ for a husband, you must be very careful otherwise, he will devour you.

Jesus is the shepherd of the sheep, he said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27). Jesus never said, my lion. I sympathize with pastors who shepherd lions. No wonder it has become very difficult to pastor people today; a lot of people are lions at heart and eagles in nature, a very dangerous combination. This is a combination of Babylon. Dan. 7:4, “The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given it”.

In the last encounter I had with Jesus, he told me specifically that his people are not ready. The Church is earthbound; you cannot be preaching earthbound messages not pointing people to Christ and expect them to make heaven at last. They can build cathedrals but they are earthbound. They can have a lot of private jets but they are earthbound. They can pay billions of dollars into Church coffers but they are earthbound. You don’t need any of these things where we are going. You cannot use earthbound models and make heaven at last. Meanwhile, the clock is ticking; every passing moment brings us closer and closer to eternity. Where will you spend eternity?
