5. King Hezekiah.
After all the wonderful things he did, his heart was lifted up.

“But Hezekiah rendered not again according to the benefit done unto him; for his heart was lifted up: therefore there was wrath upon him, and upon Judah and Jerusalem.” 

2 Chronicles 32:25, KJV

His mistake affected the destiny of those under his kingdom. That is why you must never vote for anyone who you know is a candidate of hell and expect him to be an instrument of righteousness. He does not have what it takes. There is the spirit of leadership; if the spirit of leadership is evil, there cannot be righteous moments in your clime. There cannot be rejoicing.

Take note that the heart of the matter is the matter of the heart. Beware of:

1. The ineptitude of ingratitude. Every ingrate is inept. They forget where they are coming from. “They soon forgot his works” (Psa. 106:13).
2. The arrogance of ignorance. This is what makes people feel they have arrived when they have not even started. Many times, ignorant people allow another spirit to possess them, which produces a terrible combination. Whenever you see the arrogant rise, you will see pride. When pride mixes with ignorance, then, that person cannot be helped because it produces a very dangerous combination called stupidity.
3. The audacity of stupidity. Stupidity is audacious. When people are stupid, there is nothing they cannot do.
4. The temerity of impunity. Impunity does not know bounds. The moment you allow it, it will spread.
5. The pomposity of impunity. The people with impunity behave anyhow. You cannot caution them. They are like a bull that has left a circle.
6. The impudence of nonsense. Don’t allow anyone throw any nonsense at you. You are not supposed to bow to nonsense. God chasers don’t bow to nonsense. The world is upside down today because of too much toleration of nonsense. Those who should be repudiated are the ones being celebrated. The countries who are involved in capital punishment do so because they are trying to stem the tide of evil from spreading like cancer. You cannot change what you tolerate.
7. The ornament of defilement. A lot of people display this; they steal money, buy the latest model of cars and bring it to the Church for dedication. That is an ornament of defilement.
8. The wickedness of thoughtlessness. Every thoughtless person is wicked, the wicked are thoughtless that is why they behave the way they do.
9. The recklessness of wickedness. The wicked are reckless and the reckless are wicked.
