DOMINION OVER THE SPIRIT OF DIVINATION III

Let’s not outsource anything to a third party. Jesus has gone to the cross to tear the veil so that we can have unlimited access to the throne of grace. The blood of Jesus gives us access to that throne of grace. That access is your greatest asset; your greatest asset is your access to the throne of grace. Don’t outsource it. It is gross spiritual irresponsibility if you allow anyone to be ‘seeing’ for you.

One of the things I refuse to be in ministry is to become a ‘prayer contractor’ to anyone. It is great devaluation. Can’t you pray? Today, you need not be a chief priest to enter into the presence of God. Jesus died for you. The blood of Jesus gives you access to the throne of grace, the name of Jesus gives us access to his lordship.

Why do people end up in ‘Endor’? (Why do people seek help from familiar spirits? Why do people end up in the synagogue of Satan? Why do people end up worshipping God in the altar of baal?

“So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it. And enquired not of the LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.”

1 Chronicles 10:13-14, KJV

Take note of the descending steps that took Saul to Endor:

1. He sinned against the LORD through devaluation.
Whenever you devalue the word of God, it is not just the word of God you are devaluing; it is the owner of the word. You cannot devalue an instruction until you have devalued the instructor. Devaluation goes before any disobedience – self will, “who are you? I have a better opinion, I have a better option.” It is very easy to end up in Endor.

How does it start? It starts through devaluation. Devaluation leads to disobedience. The moment there is disobedience, the heavens get blocked. The Church (gathering of believers) is not supposed to be a bus stop. It is supposed to be a place that processes believers to start having fellowship with the Holy Spirit. So the Church should process you to having fellowship with the Holy Spirit but many times, because people are not properly taught, they become so denominational that idolaters are made out of them without their knowledge.

There are some people who cannot do anything until they have consulted a seer. Your relationship with God is one on one. Jesus did not die so that only your pastor can have access to the throne of grace; that is Old Testament where only the high priest had access to the holy of holies. In the New Testament, you are not only the temple, you are also the priest, a king priest at that and you are also the altar and you should be wise to make yourself a living sacrifice. Worship has been simplified, let’s not make it more complicated than it should be.
