CELEBRATING THE GRACES OF GOD 2A

One of the means of grace that God established for us in this ministry through which God uses to give us access to his blessings is the 24 hour chain prayer tagged “Operation 247” which has been on now for seventeen years. There are several means of grace that God has made available for his children; prayer is one of them. When you network in prayer, tremendous power is made available and God steps in. It is a wonderful thing to have connection to the throne of grace. The blood of Jesus procured this for us, we have limitless access. You can enter into the holiest place and he continues to make intercession for us.

On the cross, the veil that separated the Holy place from the holy of holies was torn from top to down and has given you access. You can now enter! To God be the glory. Appreciate God for his wisdom that made this possible. Thank him for greatest demonstration of grace on the cross. God had options when man fell, he could have eradicated the adamic stock and recreated.

That was an option and nobody would have questioned him because he is sovereign over all and of course he would have been justified. Instead, he chose not to, this shows the extent of love that God has for humanity; he chose to send his Son to die for mankind, to pay the ultimate price for sin so that whosoever believes in him will have everlasting life (John 3:16). That again is the greatest demonstration of love. So, the cross is the greatest symbol of love.

Every Christian virtue is encapsulated on the cross – is it prayer? Is it submission? Is it supplication? Is it intercession? That is why the greatest mistake anyone can make is to drift away from the cross. Any time the Church drifts away from the cross, she becomes weak. This is because a drift away from the cross is a drift into the world of sin. You should, therefore, be careful.

We are in the world but we are not of the world. The spirit of worldliness is the spirit of Babylon, it is the spirit of Egypt, it is the spirit of bondage. What you have in the world is glamour. It is only in Christ that you can see the glory. The glory is not found on the surface, you have to enter into the holiest place, the holy of holies. Many people who seek God on the surface are outer court Christians – a little to the left and a little to the right. That is where a lot of people operate. But we have to move to the innermost place and it takes series and series of ablutions to do so. If you study the tabernacle doctrine, you will appreciate this.
