CELEBRATING THE GRACES OF GOD 2B
Anything that brings you closer to God is your greatest friend. If you remove God from good, all you have is zero. You need to add zero to God. God is the constant that makes everything beautiful. The greatest success factor is God himself. When you draw closer to him, you become godly. If the presence of God starts irritating you, know that you have drifted.
The Psalmist said I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord (Psa.122:1). No matter how tight his schedule, David made a habit of going into the temple ten times a day, seven out of which he devoted to praise and worship God while the three other times, he devoted to prayer. He was addicted to worship and that was why he fought so many battles and lost none to the glory of God. David was a true worshipper, fanatically in love with God and it was evident in his lifestyle. Because he was human, he committed blunders but he was truthful and it didn’t diminish his love for God and that was why God pardoned him, overlooked his short comings and entered into very serious covenant with him and it was through his lineage that Jesus was born. Celebrate God!
