2025/2026 OPERATION 18-18 – (COVENANT OF LIFE VII)
We need to check ourselves, the more I interact with people as a pastor, the more I shiver. A lot of people are not prepared to take instructions of wisdom that will add value to their lives. Disobedience in the military is treated with severe punishment. A lot of people are too civilian. They have reduced God to their size especially now; they are so full of themselves. Meanwhile, we need God more than we need oxygen.
We need to buck it up and align properly to the purposive will of God. We need to shift the centre of gravity of our lives from self to God. Until your life becomes theo-centric, it is revolving around nothing and tending towards nothing. Those who have not seen the world will always think that there is something in it. Whenever Solomon looked down under the sun, all he saw was vanity. He wrote,
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”Eccl. 12:13-14, KJV
True Christianity has a zero-tolerance level for sin. God does not tolerate sin or defilement. Without consecration, nobody makes it to heaven. Heb. 12:14, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord”. You should structure your life in such a way that everything revolves around God. Fall in love with him. You cannot feign love, that is real love, not perversion. True love is not cheap. It is selfless, agape. No idolater can display true love. Show me an idolater and I will show you a man whose life is built on perversion. A little perversion perverts everything.
“Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty. For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole. He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee. In famine, he shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the power of the sword. Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh …Thou shalt come to thy grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in his season. Lo, this, we have searched it, so it is; hear it, and know thou it for thy good.”Job 5:17-27, KJV
