CELEBRATE THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH

”Jesus told him, ”I am the Way – yes, and the Truth and the Life. No one can get to the Father except by means of me”. (John 14:6 TLB)

Jesus is the way, the truth and life. Any one who follows Him will not miss heaven. Someone once said that all ways lead to heaven. That may be correct only if what  the person means is the atmospheric heaven. The way to heaven of heavens where God dwells is through Jesus Christ. There is no other name!

One thing about truth is that it is categorical. Truth does not need anything else to be correct. It can stand on its own. It is not afraid to stand alone. Truth is simple. Truth is clear. Truth is consistent. Truth explains all. The word of God is truth. (John 17:7) Truth sanctifies (John 17:17). The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth. Jesus said:

”But I will send you the Comforter – the Holy Spirit, the source of all truth. He will come to you from the Father and will tell you all about me.” (John 15:26 TLB). See also John 14:17) Glory to God!

”When the Holy Spirit, who is truth, comes he shall guide you into all truth for he will not be presenting his own ideas, but will be passing on to you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.” (John 16:13 TLB).

If there is anytime to celebrate the Spirit of truth, it is now. One of the most prominent Spirits of the end time is the spirit of deception. It is amazing how the devil does not really change his tactics. The first weapon he used against man in the garden of Eden was deception. The last weapon he is using in this end-time to destroy man is still deception. He is the father of lies. Talking about the Jewish leaders  of his time, Jesus said: ”For you are the children of your father the devil and you love to do the things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning and a hater of truth – there is no iota of truth in him. When he lies, it is perfectly normal; for he is the father of liars.” (John 8:44 TLB)

Resolve never to dance to the tune of the father of liars. Don’t be a world – pleaser, be a God pleaser. Strive to align every aspect of your life to be consistent to the will of God as revealed in His word – the Bible. Surrender to the guidance of the precious Holy Spirit. From today, may you no longer say or do things that are socially correct”, but spiritually wrong. It is better to be word- correct and world- wrong than to be world correct  and word of God wrong. The world hates the truth; but truth will always prevail. Truth is invincible. Truth is eternal. Keep celebrating the Spirit of truth. The LORD will see you through.

P R A Y E R

Dear Heavenly Father I thank you for your word. I proclaim that your word is truth. I repent of all the lies I have ever told or lived. I ask you to forgive me, and blot out all my transgressions in Jesus’ Name. I plead the blood of Jesus. I confess that through the Blood of Jesus Christ I am sanctified. Precious Holy Spirit, I ask you to fill me with life and power of God, and guide me unto all truth, in Jesus’ Name. I celebrate you Oh Spirit of truth in Jesus’ Name. Amen
