TOUCH OF CHRIST

”And when the men of that place had knowledge of him they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased, and besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment, and as many as touched it were made perfectly whole.” (Matthew 14: 35-36 KJV)

The greatest blessing there is today is the blessing of salvation. The greatest miracle is the miracle of salvation. The greatest gift God has given is the gift of His dear son, Jesus Christ. Salvation is free, but not cheap. It cost God His beloved Son that is why the worst decision is to reject Christ. To face eternity without Christ is the worst tragedy that can befall anyone.

In his letter to the Ephesian Saints, Apostle Paul states: ”Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in CHRIST.” (Ephesians 1:3 KJV)

All spiritual blessings come from Christ. When Jesus walked the planet earth, contact with him brought immediate healing to those who touched Him. The hem of His garment was so anointed that those who touched it got healed. One of such was the woman with the issue of blood:

”And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: For she said within herself, if I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. But Jesus turned him about and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole . And the woman was made whole from that hour.” (Matthew 9:20 -22KJV)

The touch of Christ is a healing touch (Matthew 9: 20). It is an illuminating touch (Matthew 9:29) It is a quieting touch (Matthew 8:15). It is a reassuring touch (Matthew 17:7). It is a touch of deliverance (Mark 7:35). Those He touched were transformed. Those that touched Him were transformed! You may not be suffering from issue of blood. Yours may be a spiritual issue, a matrimonial issue, a financial issue, a relationship issue or an issue of lack. Whatever issue it may be, all you need is the touch of Christ. Is there storm in any area of your life? You need the quieting touch of the Lord of the storm.

Invite Jesus into your life today, stretch for the greatest miracle. Pray the simple prayer below:

Dear Heavenly Father, I worship you. I acknowledge that I am a sinner. Please have mercy on me and forgive all my sins. Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, I unreservedly surrender my life to you. I confess that you died and rose from the dead for  me.  Please be my Lord and personal saviour and grant me the grace to live for you all the days of my life. Thank you so much Lord Jesus. I proclaim I am born again. Amen
