DOMINION OVER DARKNESS(PART IX) HOW TO STAY RAPTURE READY

• There are things you must drop if you want to travel far. This is what Jesus preached. Any preacher not pointing you to heaven at this period is cheating you. My family and I used to attend Sunday service at a cathedral that sits about two thousand congregation. One Sunday, the Pastor preached a very deep message of the cross, which obviously did not go down well with the congregation. By the next Sunday, the congregation reduced by half, he continued the message the next Sunday and by the third Sunday, the Church was reduced further by another half of the people that were left. Surprisingly, the Pastor changed his message the fourth Sunday and of course those who left started coming back. What is the point of gathering a crowd that will go to hell? The purpose of this message is to prepare you so that you will not be left behind after the rapture.
• Matt. 7:21-23 “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name have done many wonderful works? And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity”. Whenever I read this scripture, I shudder and ask myself ‘will I be part of this category of people?’ This scripture is written for every one of us. This is what will happen to some people after serving God and doing his work. ‘I know you not’ means, I don’t have any relationship with you. Standards have been so bastardized that many people don’t know the correct thing anymore. Iniquity means to turn away from the light. Sin (hamartia) means to miss the mark. The beginning of sin (hamartia) is iniquity. Until you turn away from the light, you will not miss the mark. A worker of iniquity is anyone who is not doing things in line with the revealed will of God. That is why you must be very careful. It is not every open door that is God’s door. A child of God must come to a point in his or her life where the only thing that matters is ‘God, is this your perfect will for me?’ if it is not God’s perfect will, you have no business pressing into it; it is satan’s trap. It is a derailment of purpose for a man of God to seek political office unless God has specifically asked him to do so. The call of God is superior to any other call.   How do you want to fly if you are still holding on to things that are tying you to hell? How do you want to fly when you are still clinging on to chains that bind you to covenants that have their roots in hell and which give demons access to your life? You must come to a point in your life where you must realize that it is not every open door that is God’s door; some open doors are satan’s trap.
