A LIVELY HOPE? II

Eternity is real. Heaven is more real than this earth; by the grace of God, I have been there a couple of times. I have had out of body experiences which made me to understand that this atmospheric heaven is far but there is another heaven after this which is also very far. However, that is not the final place. There is another heaven after the second heaven called the heaven of heavens. Nobody can cross the second heaven without Christ. It was at the point of entering the second heavens that I realized that someone was by my side as I was travelling at the speed of light. A departing soul travels at the speed of light with nothing hindering, though there will be some level of consciousness of what is happening. You can see your spirit leave your body and the people around. But things happen very fast.

Anybody who does not have Jesus Christ as a guide cannot penetrate or cross that second heaven because that is where you have the cluster of principalities and powers of darkness. You need an escort. When Jesus said, I am the way; no one comes to the Father except by me. I understand what that means. Today, philosophers will tell you that all ways lead to heaven. To an extent, that is true. After all, if you take off from anywhere in the world you will get there but which heaven are they alluding to? They are talking about the atmospheric heaven. They know nothing about the heaven of heavens. In order to get to the heaven of heavens, you need a guide. Jesus said categorically and emphatically, I am the way, not I am a way! (John 14:6)

It is amazing how Christians belittle what they have and who they are in Christ Jesus. The world is upside down because Christians are not manifesting as sons of God. The whole creation is waiting for the manifestation of sons of God. God had a Son but he sowed that Son so that he can have sons. I have made some interesting revelations about messages and songs that we have today, it is quite revealing. The songs are no longer what they used to be when we gave our lives to Christ in the early 1970s. Such songs as “I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back, no turning back”. These songs brought revival back in the days. Messages then were preparing people for heaven. The Bible says, “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable” (1 Cor. 15:19). Messages today are preparing people for this earth that is about to fold up! Meanwhile, we are already in the end times. There is no security anywhere. The only place you can find safety is in Christ. More things are going to unfold in this end time that will confound the world. The outbreak of corona virus is an example. A lot of people are living as if this world is their inheritance.

If you are attending a Church where you are not being prepared for heaven, I am sorry to say that you are not likely to make it. Nobody ever stumbles into heaven by chance. Jesus did not come to make billionaires so the Church is not meant to be making billionaires. It is about preparing people for their inheritance. We have an inheritance; a wonderful inheritance. Sons go for inheritance while children go for toys. When we gave our lives to Christ, we were not even concerned with any other thing but heaven. What do you have today, ‘give me your gold and I will make you a god’. May you not lose focus of heaven in the name of Jesus. Even one of the thieves crucified with Jesus had to press into it and he got it there and then. Nobody stumbles into heaven by chance. You deliberately walk into it.

PRAYER

• Heavenly Father, I worship you. I thank you for the wonderful inheritance you have prepared for me through the death, burial and resurrection of your son Jesus Christ. I ask you to make heaven more real to me than any earthly thing could ever be. Jesus, you have gone to prepare a place for me. Please prepare me for that place so that where you are, there I will also be and reign with you forever. Amen.
