QUALITIES OF THOSE WHO CHASE GOD

2. They trust God even in very difficult situations and circumstances.
Even in very challenging circumstances, God chasers don’t run to their earthly connections, their first point of call is the Father; they look up. Of course, what you chase determines the direction you will face. This is very serious because the direction you face will determine your destination. That is why it is very dangerous to follow a leader who does not know the way. Any leader from the pit of hell cannot move you up. It is our trust in God that is keeping us. God chasers trust God for their provisions. When Abraham was going to sacrifice Isaac, his son asked him where the lamb of the sacrifice is, Abraham’s response was that God will provide. When it was very difficult for Abraham to believe that he was still going to have a child in his old age, he trusted God all the same. He believed God and it was credited to him for righteousness. That was how he became the father of faith; trusting God no matter the circumstance, no matter the challenge, no matter the mountain, no matter the general opinion. God is faithful.

The Bible says in Psalm 125:1 “those that trust the Lord shall be like mount Zion which cannot be removed but abideth forever.” Trusting him to provide, he is our Jehovah Jireh, he will supply all our needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Paul didn’t chase money, he chased God with a perfect heart and trusted him for his supplies. God is jealous about your relationship with him. Whatever you place side by side God in your heart has become your idol. Do you trust God enough? Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were consummate worshippers of Jehovah. They were not ready to bow to nonsense, they were not ready to submit or worship any man made god. Even in the face of persecution, they decided not to submit. May God make us people like that. They would rather die in a fiery furnace than worship an idol. Do you know that when you vote for God, he will protect you? When you acknowledge God to that point, your promotion starts immediately. God will judge the forces set up against you and his name will be glorified. One of the secrets of divine elevation is to be a God chaser. When God is lifting you, the sky cannot be the limit. Your greatest success factor is your God connection; I mean the success that is eternal, success that is generational, succeeding to succeed. All the false presentations of the enemy are meant to derail the purpose of God in your life and make you become an idolater. God hates idolatry.

Pray –

• Lord, do not allow anything that is capable of making me derail to come my way. Help me to trust you no matter how. You know the things that the devil is using to tempt me, please strengthen me to say no.
• Do not allow me to satisfy any carnal appetite that would rob me of my eternal inheritance. Do not allow me to succumb to satanic pressure. Help me to be above only.
• Grant me grace to walk in dominion in the name of Jesus. Thank you blessed Lord, I depend on you Jesus Christ, what you did on the cross is my ticket for the rapture. I trust you to help me. Amen.
