THE BATTLE OF RODS – THE ROD OF THE RIGHTEOUS 1D

We need the rod of the righteous to successfully navigate the world that is full of snakes and scorpions.

The rod of righteousness is for:

1. Comfort
   
2. Direction
   (Psa. 23:4-6) “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”
   
3. Dominion.
   The rod of the righteous is a powerful rod of dominion. Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
   
4. Correction.
   Don’t ever sit under the ministry of a Pastor who cannot correct you. Don’t have a Pastor who cannot correct you. The word of God is for correction. The Bible says in Prov 3:12 “for whom the Lord loves He corrects. Just as a father the son in whom he delights..”Again in Prov 22:15 the bible says “Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.”
   
5. The rod of the righteous is powerful.
   According to Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
   
6. It is for miracles, signs and wonders.
   Exo. 17:5-6, “And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go. Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rod, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.”
   
7. It is for access.
   When you face an obstacle like an ocean, all you need do is to raise the rod and the ocean will divide. You will get to your promised land.
   
8. The rod of the righteous makes you a God man.
   Nothing shall be impossible for you because you are literally a carrier of the presence of God. The red sea will part, not because of you but because of your connection to God. The only time you can be defeated is only if it is possible for God to be defeated. That is why you must not water down the things of God, rather, you should intensify your divine connection.

Pray-

Heavenly Father I bless and magnify your name. Graciously help me to always enforce the power and authority you have given me over the power of the enemy to trample upon serpents and scorpions. I thank you because I know nothing shall by any means hurt me in Jesus name. Amen.
