2020/2021 OPERATION 18-18 DAY 22A (DOMINION OVER THE DRAGON II)
Isa 27:1-6
“In that day the LORD with his sore and great strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea. In that day sing ye unto her, A vineyard of red wine. I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day. Fury is not in me: who would set the briers and thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together. Or let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me. He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit”.
Comprehensive divine insurance, comprehensive divine protection can only be in God. This is because he who watches over us neither slumbers nor sleep; 247 we are constantly under his watchful eyes. None can protect like him. No power can shield like the presence of God. Our focus in this series is the slaying of the dragon with the powerful sword of God. We had already established that the dragon is called by many names, such as the devil, the accuser of the brethren, the adversary, the dragon, the father of lies (you must have zero tolerance level for every form of deception). Let the truth of the word of God be your constitution this year. Let the Holy Spirit, the spirit of truth guide and uphold you. May you not be deceived in the name of Jesus. We also established that he is the tempter may the Lord grant you the grace to surmount every temptation that comes your way. You need to spend time in downloading, feasting and meditating on the word this year. Make the word you life manual. May you receive the seal of the Holy Ghost in the name of Jesus. May you be led by the Holy Spirit all the days of your life in the mighty name of Jesus. The tempter wants to seduce you and derail you out of the purpose of God, he will fail in the name of Jesus.
The only way you can surmount the temptations that are out there is to become addicted to the word of God. Unfortunately, many believers treat the word of God with levity; they only open the Bible once in a while. They do not treat the Bible as their compass. The Bible says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” Josh. 1:8. Good success refers to success that is comprehensive, success that succeeds here and hereafter, success that ran according to the purpose of God; success that discovered the purpose of God and finished it. Heb. 4:12 says, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” The strong sword of the Lord is the word of God that was what Jesus used to surmount the tempter.
