NO HOPELESS SITUATION VII

God delivered a particular sister from the spirit of death and destruction. During her deliverance, she was so violent that she tore everything she could lay her hands on. After that, God cleansed her, empowered her and she started seeing visions. However, I was a bit skeptical because I knew that she still needed a lot of help and mentorship. I was not even sure that the Holy Spirit was completely in charge because of the way she vibrated when she prophesied. She was very submissive to instructions up to a point.

I counseled her and told her why she needed to be close to the ministry as there was so much contention over her soul. I advised her to look for a school around so that she could still stay connected. Her father was, however, adamant and ordered her to come back to their village. She travelled back and before long I learnt that she was preparing to get married. The pastor in me took over and I called her to bring her suitor to Lagos for counselling. She called back to inform me that the man was not willing to come down. I knew immediately that something was terribly wrong. I then asked her to come down so that I could pray with her. She called and told me that her husband to be asked her not to come. At that point, I had no choice but to hands off.

Soon after the marriage, they had a baby boy. When she was pregnant for the second baby, I got a call from her where she was blaming me for allowing her to get married her husband! That was my worst day in ministry. That is the human heart for you. The condition of this sister today is terrible. The marriage has failed, the man collected her children from her, sent her away and got married to someone else. This could have been avoided. You cannot help anybody beyond the level the person is willing to be helped. Not even God can help such a person because God cannot violate your will in order to help you.

• In what area of your life do you wish to yield your will and agree with God so that you can see it fulfilled even before the end of the year? Talk to God about it.
• May the Lord wipe away tears from your eyes and meet your voiced and unvoiced desires.
• May he answer you when you call and grant you accelerated progress in the mighty name of Jesus. His presence will catapult you to greater heights.
• You will not stagnate, you will not be delayed. The Lord will perfect all that concerns you in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen!
