SEVEN STRATEGIES FOR WINNING IN THE FIELD

6. Divine Connection and Divine Signal.
With four classes of people at different locations, you need divine signal, you need a network, you need communication. How did the people in the battle front know that whenever the hands of Moses came down, the tide of battle turned? There was communication. We should be people who are properly networked. What has happened in the Church today is that those who should be standing on top of the mountain, lifting the banner are dropping the rod to go to the field. Just imagine what would have happened if Moses decided to drop the rod, leave the mountain and go to the field to join the foot soldiers! The moment you do that, God will step aside. God is not in the business of blessing anything that is out of order. Many homes are suffering today because there is no order. God’s divine order of things has been twisted; the wife is running a parallel government to the husband instead of aligning and submitting. What do you have? Confusion! That is exactly what is happening in many countries today; you cannot enthrone darkness and expect light. You don’t connect to aridity and expect prosperity. Your connection must be right for there to be a flow. Once there is a disconnection, the environment will change. That is the power of disconnection. Once you disconnect, it is only a matter of time before everything changes. You make the right connection, you get it. When the devil is trying to isolate you from a place where you should connect, he is only being wicked because he disconnects and isolates in order to destroy. That is what you see everywhere today. When people leave their track, they get disqualified. It is not enough to run and win, before you can win you must run on your track. God’s army will not break ranks. Stay where God has called you and fulfil God’s purpose for your life. No one group of people could have done it successfully. It took the collaborative efforts of four groups of people for God to be declared Jehovah Nissi (the Lord, our Banner). What does the rod pointing up signify? That is where we have our focus. The rod of the wicked points downwards that is why if you mistakenly align with a wicked leader, all forms of wickedness will begin to happen in the land. That is exactly what is happening in this nation. The Bible says, “The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted” (Psa. 12:8). If God wants to bless you, he will connect you to the right people.

7. Celebration of Victory.
God wants you to celebrate his faithfulness. He wants you to make a monument out of the victories he gives you. Have references. This is very important because it will help you to appreciate God the more. Thanksgiving brings increase. Thanksgiving multiplies grace. Thanksgiving tells a lot about the type of person you are. Thanksgiving brings perfection. From time to time, it is good to look back and remember the victories that God has given you.

PRAYER

• Father, I thank you for bringing me thus far. If it had not been for your grace, where would I have been? What would I have done? It is because of your faithfulness that I was not even aborted in my mother’s womb. If the enemy were to have his way, I would never have been born. Lord, you made it possible for me to be born and you have been supplying all my needs according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. I worship and adore you. I magnify your name and declare that you have been good to me.
• Lord, you have been faithful to my family. Thank you, Lord, for how far you have brought me. Thank you for your faithfulness. Thank you for your love. Thank you for your kindness. Thank you for your mercies. Thank you ancient of days. Many are the wonderful things that you have done for me.
