b. The blood of Jesus.
Rev. 12:11, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” There is power in the blood of Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus is like a spiritual atomic bomb. If two different believers say – the blood of Jesus, it will definitely not carry the same power. Why? The power of the blood of Jesus in your mouth is directly proportional to the level of revelation you have in the blood, just like the name of Jesus. Remember what happened to the seven sons of Sceva in Acts 19. They saw the apostles casting out demons in the name of Jesus and decided to do the same thing saying to demon possessed man, “We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth”. The Bible says, “And the man in whom the evil was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of the house naked and wounded” (Acts 19:13-16). You don’t jump into these things. Christianity is not magic, it is not religion. Christianity is relationship with God through his son Jesus Christ. What is your relationship with God? That is what gives you the mandate to use the blood.

When the blood of Jesus Christ is flowing through you and you are a registered citizen of heaven, when you say, ‘I come in the name of Jesus, it is no longer about you because Jesus himself appears at the very moment to take over. Angels move when you call that name. If you decide to deploy the weapon of the blood of Jesus, what you are trying to do is similar to what the allied forces did during the Second World War when the Japanese were obstinate. The allied forces decided to release the atomic bomb into Hiroshima and Nagasaki and that marked the end of the war! Are you ready to release the blood bomb? When Pharaoh refused to give up in spite of all the miracles, his heart was hardened. In Exo. 12, the Passover Lamb was slaughtered and the blood was applied.

Take note that the blood of Jesus does not avail unless it is applied. Without its application, you cannot have the result. The blood of Jesus is our Passover. The blood of Jesus is still speaking. It is our symbol of sanctification. It is our symbol of redemption. The Passover ministry of the blood of Jesus is for protection. Apart from the Passover ministry of the blood of Jesus, there is:

1. The overcoming ministry of the blood of Jesus (Rev 12:11).
2. The sanctifying ministry of the blood of Jesus (Heb 13:12).
3. The redemptive ministry of the blood of Jesus (1 Pet 1:18-20).
4. The speaking ministry of the blood of Jesus and (Heb 12:22-24).
5. The cleansing ministry of the blood of Jesus (1 John 1:7-10).
