DOMINION OVER SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS 6A

The way you handle the things of God is part and parcel of your worship. If you form the habit of giving God the best, God will ensure that you never lack the best to give him and before long you will become the best. This is a secret that works. My life is a testimony. Anything you cannot release in order to serve God has become your god. Whatever you place side by side God in your heart is your god. Many of the people who go to Church today are idolaters who use God to get things. It is all about me, my own. Many of the songs in the Church today are empty, they don’t take people closer to God.

The Bible prophesied it long ago that in the last days, people will be lovers of themselves more than lovers of God (2 Tim 3:1-2). May that prophecy not fulfil in your life in the mighty name of Jesus.

Pray –

• Lord, help me to love you more than I love self.  Help me to love you beyond the way I love myself in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
• Grant me the grace for the rest of my life to always give you my best in the name of Jesus.

I heard the testimony of a man who resolved to always give God the highest denomination he had in his pocket whenever it was time to give. He confessed that it was not easy because he struggled with it. Today, this man has been so blessed. When his office, a very big organization, needed a high ranking IT personnel, they decided to place an external advert but someone within the organization advised the management to place an internal advert first. When they did, this man, who was just an officer, quickly put in his application and miraculously he was successful and became an Assistant General Manager. Just one decision can change everything for you.

A lot of people go through self inflicted hardship when they fail to understand the ways of God. When I heard this testimony, I also decided to start giving God the highest denomination I had in my pocket. I struggled with this until I started doing it effortlessly. At a point, the Lord ministered to me to multiply the offering and I obeyed. I stand to testify that God has been faithful. God rewards kingdom service. Make up your mind to serve God according to his terms, to serve him and be a true worshipper who will always give God the best while you still have the opportunity to do so.
