2022/2023 OPERATION 18-18 – (THE POWER OF GRACE 1C)

One of the things lacking today in raising up Christians is the discipline of scripture memorization. Josh. 1:8 says,

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success”.

How many believers today pay the necessary attention to the word of God?

How many people have set a target for themselves this year to cover the whole of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, God helping them? If you have not made up your mind to do so, please reconsider. The Lord has been speaking to me that a lot of Christians do not prioritize the things of God. It is the greatest damage that the devil is doing to Church goers; pursuing other things. The Bible did not say that God is a rewarder of those who seek him but that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him (Heb. 11:6).

Let it be one of the most important decisions you make this year – to put God first. Prioritize your God connection. The secret of fullness of joy is in Psa. 16:11,

“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”

Psalm 16:11 KJV

Most people are seeking for joy in the presence of mammon and all its altars and that is why they can’t find it. We have something that the world cannot give. How many of us celebrate it? The law of attention comes to play here. What you don’t recognize, you cannot celebrate. What you don’t celebrate will take a walk after a while.

Pray –

• Lord, please help me. Keep my world in perfect peace this year. I want to have time to serve you more than I have ever done. Make me a person addicted to your presence. May I not chase vanity. May I not miss you in the mighty name of Jesus. Help me, O God, to prioritize.
• In your presence is fullness of joy, at your right hand pleasures for ever more. Make me a person of your presence in the name of Jesus. Let the power of your presence be manifest in my life in the mighty name of Jesus.
• Grant me the grace not to be distracted this year. Grant that every decision I make this year will draw me closer and closer to you.
• Help me, O God, to experience the fullness of the joy of your presence in every area of my life, I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen!
