2022/2023 OPERATION 18-18 – (THE POWER OF GRACE 1G)

THE POWER OF GRACE INCLUDES:

5. Power for comprehensive dominion.
This is closely related to the previous point.

“The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries. He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head”.

Psalm 110 KJV

True grace makes you rule in the midst of your enemies, it does not make you enemy conscious. God is not going to take you away from the earth because of your enemies, he is going to empower you to rule in their midst. They shall be ashes under your feet. The heathen are all over the place because Christians have not learnt to sit together in heavenly places, the place of dominion. If the heathen see the power of the almighty, they will bow. That is what the Church should be doing – demonstration of the power of the almighty. If you know who you are in Christ Jesus and what you have, no lesser power, no contrary power can mess you up. Sitting together in Christ is a place of comprehensive dominion over darkness. Come up to sitting together in Christ in heavenly places. Heaven will back you up to ensure that no evil power messes up with you. Any evil personality that rises against the purpose of God for your life must fall for your sake in the name of Jesus. The battle is the Lord’s not yours. The God of Israel knows no defeat. No power either in flesh or out of it can mess you up.

6. Power to live above worldly lusts.
You cannot change the world by becoming worldly. The Church needs to understand this. You have to live above.

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ”.

Titus 2:11-13 KJV

Why do we have to live above lust? Lust is the perversion of love. Corruption works through lust; the seed that produces the harvest of corruption is lust. That is why we need a supernatural empowerment in the world today where everyone wants to flaunt and show off. There are three dimensions of lusts: lust of the flesh, lust of the eye and pride of life.  We are supposed to live soberly, connecting daily, regularly and absolutely to the soon coming king and having our blessed hope alive; celebrating it because where your treasure is, there your heart will be.

Pray –

• Lord, help me. Thank you for the provisions you have made for me to live above worldliness and lust – lust of the flesh, lust of the eye and pride of life. I ask you, O God, in the name of Jesus Christ for grace to live above lust all the days of my life. Empower me supernaturally to live above lust and worldliness in Jesus’ name.
