WORSHIPPING GOD WITH UNREPENTANT HEART I

Through the thick and thin, God has programmed rejoicing for us. At the end, we will shout in triumph. When God says it, it is settled, there is nothing anyone can do about it. Never you align with or trust the adversary. Never allow the devil to manipulate you and push you outside the purpose of God. We are on the winning side because God has spoken in his holiness, we will rejoice. If you look at your environment, you may misfire but if you look up, you will see the hand of God. That is the reason why the Psalmist said, I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help? (Psa. 121:1). May God teach us to always look up in all circumstances because he is the answer.

There are things that defy logic, when you have come to the end of the road and you look at the situation on ground, know that it is time to look up. Talk to God and ask him to help you. He will respond with peace. When Stephen was being stoned, ideally, he should be asking questions, but instead, he looked up and saw the heavens open and the son of God in his glory seated at the right hand of God. He was killed but his testimony lives on.

It is possible to create a different world distinct from the one God intended for you. How can you do this? You can do that through your decisions, your right to choose. That is what the devil is using to derail destinies. Samson saw a Philistine woman and he decided to marry her. His parents advised him to get someone among his own people instead. But he refused to heed their advice (Judges 14). The will of man in union with the snake is the greatest undoing of man. God does not take your will, no.

Decisions determine everything. Decisions determine salvation. Decisions define destination. Decisions define destiny. Decisions determine wealth. Decision determines success. The Bible is not a book of destinies or a history book, it is not a story book either, it is a book of ‘ifs’, a book of decisions and that is why you have about 321 ifs in the Bible. It is all about choices. The greatest wisdom and the greatest prayer is – not my will but thine will be done. A time comes when the defining statement between success and failure will be whether you are ready to surrender your will to the one who has what it takes to guide you to choose right.

Today, a lot of parents are in pains because what they intended for their children is different from the path their children have chosen for themselves. They spend so much money to train and send these children to school but at the end the children decide to tow a different path; they create their digital world of pornography, same sex relationships, rebellion against the purpose of God. A person who fails to obey his parents cannot obey God. Instead of building on the wisdom of their parents, they chart their own course.

Today a lot of women have problem with submission and yet they want to have a successful marriage. Many ladies want to get married but they don’t want to be a wife, they don’t even know how to be one. Every philosophy must be tested; every decision has a price.

Pray –
  • Lord, please help me in the name of Jesus Christ. Grant me the grace, Lord, in this journey, I want to do your will. I want to finish well and finish strong. I want to have comprehensive success. I do not want to succeed to fail, I want to succeed and have successors who succeed. Please help me in the name of Jesus. This is my desire and Lord, I know that this is your desire for me.
  • I do not want to live in a world that you have not created, let it be the world that you purpose for my destiny that I will live and help me to hand it over to my children. Grant my children the grace to also hand it down to their children and let it continue, generations of those who love and worship you in spirit and in truth. Thank you Lord. Let our meat be to do your will in Jesus’ mighty name.
