WHY YOU SHOULD NOT BE AN EAGLE VIII

Once you become a lion or an eagle, you become unteachable. Once you become a lion, Jesus cannot lead you because he is not a shepherd of lions and eagles but the shepherd of the sheep. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me (John 10:27).

The first prescription for discipleship is difficult to find today because you cannot find it in the eagle neither can you find it in a lion.

“And he said to them all, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.”

Luke 9:23-24, KJV

How many people today are ready to deny self? Everyone is seeking for what is in it for them! The cross is no longer the symbol of dominion today. Everywhere these things are dignified, the symbol of dominion for them is the lion and then the eagle because they want to soar with their projects. They build empires but unto whom? They build empires to make name for themselves.

The spirit of Babylon is the spirit of empire building; it is the spirit of Nimrod. The first empire builder was Nimrod, the mastermind of the tower of Babel. He was so powerful that he built five empires including Assyria. If you are seeing projects, massive cathedrals and crowd, be careful. It is not necessarily an indication that the will of God is being done.

There is no healing anointing in the eagle and the lion, they are destroyers. Healing flows from the cross not from the lion or the eagle.

PRAYER

• Father, please deliver me. In any way that I have inadvertently walked into satanic traps, forgive me. In any way that motivational speakers have programmed me against your will, today, I repent and ask you to forgive me. Cleanse me with the precious blood of your Son and set me free in the name of Jesus.
• Pray for every general overseer. They are first of all men and so capable of making mistakes. Many of them have made colossal mistakes. Ask God to visit them and show them mercy.
• Father please, cleanse, purge and purify every one that has stepped into error; every pastor, every preacher, every teacher of the word and every altar that is propagating error, Father, please have mercy. Grant that the Church will return to the cross, the greatest display of the truth and mercy of God. Grant that this truth will swallow up every error.
• Let there be revival in holiness, righteousness and wisdom in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, we ask that you raise true worshippers and not just members of denominations. Deliver your Church from denominational Christianity. We ask that you raise true disciples who will worship you in spirit and in truth in the name of Jesus.
• Pray that our meat shall be to do the will of him who has sent us and that when the rapture will happen, it will not take us unawares in the name of Jesus; we will be there to rendezvous with Jesus Christ in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Whatever error that we have internalized has caused us, let there be comprehensive restoration in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, when you look down upon us, may your face beam with smile in the name of Jesus.
• When you look out for us, our Eternal Bridegroom, may your response be, “O my dove who art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs”. Let this be our testimony in Jesus’ mighty name we pray. Amen!
