There was no external factor, his heart deceived him and that is why we must be very careful of what we entertain in our heart.

If a perfect man who was placed in a perfect environment can be deceived, you, an imperfect man in an imperfect environment, should be careful. If a perfect man placed in a perfect environment with only one law could miss it, you should be careful. That was why God gave up his only begotten Son so that he (Jesus) can offer that final sacrifice, so that he will be our atonement, propitiation and our Passover; so that he will be the ultimate sacrifice, our eternal high Priest, our Sanctifier, our Justifier, our glorifier and our intercessor, our blessed hope, our lively hope.

A departing soul does not leave this earth with anything; the only thing a departing soul leaves with is HOPE. It could either be a dead hope or a lively hope. It is dead or alive based on your relationship with Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, our propitiation, our eternal high priest, our eternal bridegroom, the One who has come that we might have life and have it in abundance.

The worst tragedy is to face a Christless eternity. Salvation is free but not cheap. It cost God his very best. What is our responsibility? Connection! Whosoever believeth, that is, he that makes the habit of believing, one who continues to believe to the end. Today, you have the easy believists, theologians who will tell you that the moment you say the sinners prayer, you are already in heaven no matter how you live. Once saved, saved forever is not a doctrine of the Bible. That is the word perverted and it is dangerous. There are so many dangerous theologies out there, it is our responsibility to attack error in order to eliminate it so that it does not destroy lives and destinies. What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul? (Matt. 16:26). The greatest lie man tells himself is that man lives, acts, talks, behaves, thinks as if he will never die. The truth is that every passing moment takes us closer and closer to eternity. What happens to all your acquisitions after death? The only thing dead people take with them is relationship, the hope. When you are living, what are you living for? Let us live while we live!
