5. Enforce the believers’ authority.

“Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” 

Matthew 18:18, KJV

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” 

Luke 10:19, KJV

God knows that as believers we are not going to walk on red carpet as some preachers preach today. Some even preach that the moment you give your life to Christ, you are exempt from battles. Nothing can be farther from the truth. We are called to trample upon serpents and scorpions. You cannot trample with unsanctified feet. It is dangerous to try to trample the serpent with unsanctified feet. That is why there are so many casualties today. The Bible makes it clear that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness of this world. Principalities are administrators of evil in any environment. The devil has a well organized and structured kingdom. He knows that he is not omnipresent but he has structured his kingdom in such a way that he can successfully smuggle his agent into your bedroom in order to gain access. That is why you need to be discerning. Put enough fire in your home and be a carrier of it.

6. Fellowship with the Holy Ghost.
At the heart of fellowship is partnership. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God (Rom. 8:14).

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” 

Acts 1:8, KJV

When the disciples of Jesus came to him and asked if he will restore the kingdom of Israel, he told them no, God is a God of priorities. He said, tarry ye until ye be endured with power from on high. He said you will receive power ‘after’ the Holy Ghost is come upon you, not before.

“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” 

Acts 2:1-4, KJV

In the upper room fire fell, one hundred and twenty traumatized disciples but who were focused praying, received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Prayer, consecration and consecrated intercession bring down the fire. They were not only baptized with the evidence of speaking in tongues, fire rested upon every head, measured fire! Receive the fire dimension in the name of Jesus. You need it.
