THE POWER OF RESURRECTION II
I have discovered that there are many people in the Church who are not in the Lord. Are you in the Lord? Have you booked your ticket? Are you living for him? Are you living in denial? Will that day take you unawares? What are the things that are holding you down that you need to relinquish so that you can travel light? You don’t need to wait for the day that the world celebrates as Easter to answer these questions. That should be our every day introspection. Ask yourself, “if it happens now, will I fly?”
The world system is designed in such a way that if you are not careful, you will chase other things like money, career, business and so on. The amount of energy that is devoted to chasing other things makes it difficult to even have a little left to chase God. A lot of people are so busy that they don’t even have time to introspect. But that is part of the prophecy fulfilling; people will be very busy doing so many things and the rapture will happen within the twinkling of an eye. This was the only message we had when we first gave our lives to Christ back then and this produced better Christians than we have today. This is very important. The rapture is imminent.
4. The second coming of Jesus Christ.
You may ask, what is the difference between the rapture and the second coming of Jesus Christ? There is great difference between the two. During the rapture, Jesus is coming for his bride, the true Church, the saints. In the second coming, he is coming with his bride to judge the world and establish the kingdom of righteousness. God planted his Son as a seed and the harvest that this seed is producing is you and I. As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God (John 1:12). We have the power to become the sons of God. If the followers of Jesus understood his mission and everything he told them was going to happen to him and they believed, they wouldn’t have gone to his tomb with spices to embalm him three days after. They never understood his mission. It is difficult to blame them because such a thing had never happened before. Before the coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, people were tormented with the fear of death. The leviathan head of death was terrorizing everyone.
There must have been a lot of jubilation in the kingdom of darkness the day Jesus was crucified; there was so much mockery, even one of the thieves on the cross who was crucified with Jesus allowed the devil to use him as a mouthpiece. May you not yield yourself as an instrument of the devil in the name of Jesus. May you never align against the purpose of God in your life.
