THE POWER OF RESURRECTION III

It is all about alignment, endorsement, who you vote for. It is all about agreement. When you agree with the agents of darkness against the purpose of God, you will become a member of the congregation of the wicked. May you never support what God hates in the name of Jesus. May you never celebrate what God condemns in the powerful name of Jesus. That is the easiest way to miss the rapture. That is the easiest way to be on the other side.

Everything in the world is designed to make people put the wrong foot forward. However, all things were working together for good because the hand of God was the greatest orchestrator of what happened. No power could have killed the Son of God. Jesus did not just die, he laid down his life. The greatest seed you can sow is not money; the greatest seed you can plant is your life. A lot of people don’t know this.

Every departing soul takes nothing with them except HOPE and that hope is either a lively hope or a dead hope. It is the spirit of life in Christ Jesus that makes the hope a living one.

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

Romans 8:11, KJV

What is the power of resurrection? The Holy Spirit is the power of resurrection. It is the Holy Spirit that quickens. He is not only the power of resurrection; he is the spirit of transformation. The word quicken is ‘chayah’ in Hebrew, it means to give life, to enliven. Where the Holy Spirit is in operation, there is abrogation of death; death cannot have its way. We have something that we should be very excited about, it is something that we should treasure so much and never allow anything yank it off from us.

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”

Romans 8:1-2, KJV

There are two laws here. We are under the law of the spirit of life. It is the spirit that gives life; the letter kills. (2 Cor. 3:6).

John 7:38, “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water”. We are connected to the river of life and whatever that river touches, there shall be no more curse, no more barrenness, no more death, no more stagnation, no more delay, no more disappointment, no more Pisgah, no more labouring like an elephant and eating like an ant, no more poverty, scarcity, lack, sickness, disease, no more death.

It is a comprehensive package; God has prepared a comprehensive package for us, let us plug into this river of life. Do not allow anything disconnect you. The greatest problem of man today is disconnection. The greatest problem of man today is partial contact. The only time that people remember the power of resurrection is Easter Sunday. After that, what happens?
