DOMINION OVER THE SPIRIT OF DIVINATION II

It takes having the right spirit to be in tune with the frequency of heaven. Without the right spirit, you cannot be in tune with the frequency of heaven. Of course, the right spirit is the Holy Spirit. When you try to gather all manner of people in order to grow a Church, you will reduce the standard of God’s word to human standard. Naturally, money will increase, a bigger cathedral may emerge but something gives. A lot of Churches are no longer being run by the Holy Spirit; some are running on autopilot. The moment the Holy Spirit departs, you are on your own.

It is possible to start well today but if that person allows a contrary spirit to enter, he or she will become dangerous tomorrow. King Saul started well; he even prophesied with a band of prophets. When he was in his right mind, he banished witches, necromancers, diviners, soothsayers, enchanters and those who practiced idolatry out of Israel. However, when he was under the influence of a contrary spirit, his heaven was blocked and as soon as that happened, he started seeking for help where help could not come.

It is very common for people to seek for help where it cannot come. What pushes people to do this? It is when they decide to go and look for someone to “see” for them. God does not want his children to outsource the responsibility of seeking Him. Doing so is an indication that the person’s heavens are blocked. It signifies someone who has strayed. It shows that that person has lost touch with the frequency of heaven and most likely to fall into the hands of people with familiar spirits.

Acts 16:16-18, a certain slave girl possessed with the spirit of divination was using familiar spirit to divine and everything she said about Paul and Silas was correct but apostle Paul was able to discern that the spirit was wrong. He rebuked the spirit and immediately, the spirit left. Her masters were not happy because she could no longer make money for them through divination and so they arrested Paul and Silas.

Today, a lot of people troop to where they can ‘see’ for them. The caliber of people who do this is unbelievable. Unfortunately, the people they go to consult do not even have what it takes to transform anyone. They cannot preach against sin. This issue is so sensitive that Apostle Paul and Silas eventually ended up in prison.

Divination is gross devaluation of the gift of word of knowledge; it is perversion of the gift of word of knowledge. Anything that is perverted cannot be of God. That is why you see traditional religious practitioners divine, they have instruments that they use to foretell and they boast about it. Divination is done by familiar spirits and not by the Holy Spirit.

What many people call vision is nothing but divination. True vision is God showing glimpses of his blueprint for your life; it is the unfolding of that blue print. When you see into the blue print, when you key into it, then that vision becomes a mission. God gives you a vision so that you can key into it and make it a mission.
