201 OPERATION 18-18 (DAY 8) – CELEBRATING THE WORD OF GOD B(III)
Nine things the Word will do for you as you celebrate it (cont’d)
7. The word of God will build your faith. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing the word of God according to Rom.10:17. Nobody can overcome the world without faith. It is faith that makes you an overcomer. You build your faith through the word. The word of God will strengthen your faith and make you a winner everywhere you go; in the garden of the field, in the garden of the heart and in the garden of the home. Anywhere the word of God operates, it will give you victory over the wiles and antics of the enemy. The devil comes to create fear, but Mr faith will answer. From time to time read the word of God aloud so that your doubting mind may be subdued. You need to speak the word aloud for your faith to rise. The beautiful thing about the blessing of the word of God is that you are the first person to take delivery and enjoy it. Many years ago, I was praying for people and they were getting healed. Then one day, a great mountain of ganglion appeared on my wrist. Each time, I looked at it, I was hearing surgery, surgery but thank God for Kenneth Haggins. In one of his books, I came across a scripture in Mark 11:23, “For verily I say unto you, That whosever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” I studied that scripture as if I had never read it before. I said to myself, ‘I don’t need to look for mountain anywhere else when there is one on my wrist’. I prayed, ‘you mountain of ganglion on my wrist, I say to you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, dissolve and disappear’. I continued making this confession and one day, as I brought out my wrist to confess, where there used to be a mountain, a valley had appeared. That was how the mountain dissolved and disappeared to the glory of God. This particular command has produced and continues to produce so many miracles in the lives of people. It is easier to exercise faith to heal others than to exercise faith for yourself to be healed. That is why we need the word. Keep the word of God in your heart and keep energizing yourself with the word.
8. The word of God will make you wise. Psalms 119:97-100. Believers are supposed to be the wisest people on earth, but are they? The wisdom of this world is sensual, carnal, earthly and earth bound. Many preachers of the word have been seduced by the wisdom of this world and abandoned the Word which is supposed to make them wiser than the angels. It is a privilege to have the word. You can imagine how God will feel when His people jettison His word and follow the world. It is like the children of Israel that left Egypt but Egypt never left them. They were still meditating on the garlic and cucumber of Egypt. When will you forget the cucumber of Egypt?
9. The word of God will bless us with prosperity and comprehensive success. Psalms 1:1-3, Joshua 1:8. When you receive the word, you act on it and celebrate it, you will have comprehensive success. The secret is in celebrating the word.
PRAYER-
- May the word of God begin to produce far reaching results in your life in the name of Jesus. May the Word make you a wonder.
- May your life be supernaturally empowered by the word of God in the name of Jesus. May the years ahead be the most fruitful, the most blessed, the most glorious, the most blissful and the most impactful years of your life in the name of Jesus.
- May you have comprehensive dominion over the world as a result of your celebrating the word of God in the name of Jesus.
- For the rest of your life, align yourself to the purposive will of God as enunciated in the word of God so that your life will be full of testimonies, full of signs and of wonders and you will have proofs. You will become wiser than the angels and your teachers; your moves will rattle your professors in the name of Jesus. You will invent new theorems, laws and principles in the name of Jesus. Amen.
