2020/2021 OPERATION 18-18 DAY 1B – (I WILL LIFT UP MY EYES)

Everyone has a face set in a particular direction but the best way to look is up. Why? Because heaven is above. Where you look is where you will derive your help. Tune to the frequency of heaven. Look up. Before God blessed Abram, he taught him to look up in the right direction. Nobody ever rises above the direction they are looking for help. Nobody ever rises above their persuasion. Your connection determines your personal persuasion.

Gen. 15:1-7, “After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus. And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir. And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the starts, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness. And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.” The reason why so many people fail to look in the right direction is fear; fear is a limiter. Whoever is fearful is not looking up. God told Abram, I am going to show you how to succeed. What is the picture in your mind? The direction you are looking determines the vision you will have. That is why it is wrong for children of God to be seeking help from native doctors or people who are not looking in the right direction. A true man of God will always point you to God. Anything that is not consistent with the word of God is a lie, from hell beneath from where every lie proceeds.

God is in the height of heaven according to Job 22:12, “Is not God in the height of heaven? and behold the height of the stars, how high they are!” Looking up shifts your focus away from self to heaven. When you look up, you will see the bigger picture. Many years back, someone told me that she saw me in a dream surrounded by demons and there was no way of escape. I laughed when I heard this. This was my response to the Sister, ‘it is because you did not look up, if you had looked up, you would have seen the mighty hand of God that lifted me out of that situation’.

On another occasion, immediately after service, a Sister told me that she was in my house in a vision where we were conducting a child naming ceremony. I was not surprised to hear that because my wife was visibly pregnant. What came as a surprise, however, was that she went further to say that it was a baby boy! I told her there and then that it was a lie. Why did I say that? Because I already had two boys and I had settled it with God that I was going to have a girl. This contrary vision was just not acceptable and as such I rejected it. Anything anyone sees in a vision for you that is not consistent with the original blue print of God for your life is a lie. This is how people cage themselves – they accept what they should not. When you have set your mind to seek the face of God, don’t allow any form of distraction. Distractions can come from any quarter. You can listen to a voice that takes you away from God; you can listen to a voice that draws you to God. Anything that takes you to God is lifting, anything that takes you down is of the devil. Job 35:5, “Look unto the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds which are higher than thou.” The secret of sweatless victories is looking up, lifting up your eyes to God – this is divine connection. The secret of divine elevation is looking in the right direction. A lot of people look in the wrong direction for help: some look up to their uncles or aunties for connections but fail to look up. The arm of flesh will fail! When you look in the right direction, you will see the glory of God. Anything that is consistent with the word of God is good, while any word that is not consistent with the word of God is evil.

Ask God to keep you focused in the right direction all the days of your life and make it impossible for you to be distracted.
